Entering its 5th year the Robert R Sawyer Invitational Swim Meet has turned into a great gathering of some of the fastest swimmers in the county area. The invitational continues to get faster and faster each year. Congrats to the men’s team who captured first place and the women whom finished in the runner up position. Overall the Whirlies took the combined team title over Page! Outstanding performers for the Whirlies at the Sawyer Invitational were: Parker Zieg (1st 50 & 100 free), Graham Hertweck, Alex Biaggi, Mason Lewis, Drew Phillips, Larson Hunsucker, Jon Pulaski, Sean Farrelly, Davis Hoover, Men’s 200 Free Relay 1st (Zieg, Hoover, Lewis, Hertweck), and Branden Hager (Diving), Amelia Gilchrist, Audrey Clegg, Addison Herndon, Catherine Buchholtz, Drew Evans, Sidney Goetz,  Kennedy Reid, Molly Hunt, Women’s 200 Free Relay 1st (Hoover, Goetz, Herndon, Gilchrist) & Brigita Burgess (Diving).
